Why NOT moss on the bathroom floor?

As I mentioned a few days ago, I decided to paint the bathroom floor. It’s not so crazy, I painted the kitchen floor and it came out great. I decided moss would be good in the bathroom-after all, its a damp kinda place and wouldn’t moss feel nice and soft underfoot when your step out of the shower naked?

And let’s face it-it couldn’t be much worse.

And so I did. I started with cleaning it really well, then painted it dark green with some porch paint I had on hand. Then I remembered seeing one of those sponges people wash their cars with somewhere-perfect for painting moss. I hunted the sponge down, tore it into hand size pieces (Oh, that was your sponge? Sorry, I’ll get you a new one.)

I mixed four tints and shades of yellow green, took my sponge in hand and made little moss mounds. If you’re so crazy you want to paint your floor with moss, email me and I’ll tell you how. If you are not that crazy, c’mon you’ve got to admit, it looks pretty mossy.  🙂 (See below)

If I didn’t live with room mates (whose sponges I steal) I would remake the whole place to look like the movie Avatar-maybe a hammock, lots of bright green, purple and gold-yeah.

But I do live  with others and they won’t let me paint the house exterior to blend in with the woods nor get a van and paint Picasso’s “Guernica all” over it.

Party poopers. 🙂

Picasso’s “Guernica” (an anti-war protest would look great on a van, don’t you think?)
