How is your week going? Good, I hope.
I have finally finished the Three Weirdos, a comic book in my series on Critical Thinking for Beginning Readers. Phew… It didn’t take seventeen years as it took Tolkien to write The Lord of the Rings, but then 1. He was a genius 2. He had multiple themes and I have only one, which is:
We desperately NEED the “misfits” among us.
While odd, weird or quirky people may be irritating (Why can’t they just be like the rest of us?) they may, in fact, be exactly what we all need to stay alive. After all, as Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” Some problems require a different level of consciousness, like that possessed by Ono, the crazy-brave mouse, Looky, the hyper-observant squirrel or Wait, the very cautious Chipmunk.
To all the misfits of this world-stay awesome. 🙂

happy ending.
